Here's a very conflicted  What's Worth Your $$$$$ for the releases in Australia for the 05.07.2012. There are 3 Films coming out, one of them is notably omitted (that being Katy Perry 3D) because this pack of film geeks don't know if we could seriously endure it. So here are our opinions of The Amazing Spider-man and Ted.

The “Amazing” Spider-Man doesn’t earn its moniker. The fresh directorial approach, darker origins and youthful flavour is suffocated by the obligation of laying all too familiar foundations to the Spidey-verse.

A Spiderman film will never be original, no matter how many sequels the studios want to deliver us.  But don’t give us a carbon copy of something else.

If you love Family Guy and worship at the alter of McFarlane you will absolutely adore Ted. It’s ridiculous, inappropriate, hilarious, nostalgic, geek heroin.

Ted does well for a film built on a thin plot and an outlandish premise but it works well and it’s good to see MacFarlane take his first steps into filmmaking.
