FIVE STAR FILMS: The Whole Bloody List ***UPDATED 2/05/2019***

From the earliest days of Graffiti with Punctuation co-founder Cam Williams and I were extremely passionate about celebrating the films universally considered to be the greatest films of all time. Cam’s idea for our ‘Five Star Film’ exploration initially followed the below mantra: “Welcome to five star films where we shine the spotlight on the greatest films of all time. People have been banging on about these films for years so rather than go over familiar ground we’ve picked the five reasons why they’re worthy of being labelled five star films.”

FIVE STAR FILMS #56: Double Indemnity (Billy Wilder - 1944)

Double Indemnity is a magnificent film noir thriller, directed by Billy Wilder. Wilder’s body of work, over a career lasting nearly fifty years, included films with an incredibly eclectic mix of styles and themes, such as classics Some Like it Hot, The Seven Year Itch, Sunset Boulevard and Sabrina.
