Where did it all go wrong? When did the man who gave us Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore & The Wedding Singer become the comedic equivalent of Sardine flavoured Gelato. The King of the non-zing Adam Sandler brings us his latest slice of humour pie, served cold with a few laughs on the side with That's My Boy. Sandler plays the Dad from hell after "fathering" a child with his teacher in his teens. His prodigy played by heir apparent Andy Samberg has changed his name in an attempt to escape his past & has nothing to do with said father. But when an impending prison sentence drops "Donny" back in "Todd's" life, all hell breaks loose as the two try to repair a broken relationship all the while with a smorgasbord of Granny-love, some of the weirdest strippers ever seen, a game of who's shagging who & even Vanilla Ice playing his most challenging role: himself.

The visual presentation of this film is stunning, thats right stunning! What is delivered here is a sharp, bright reference level picture, with amazing clarity & pristine image detail. No sign of any artefacts, nothing just an outstanding delivery of colour vibrancy fully showcasing Blu-ray & HD capabilities. I have no hesitation in awarding a 5 out of 5, go figure..
DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1, French Dolby Digital 5.1 Subtitles; English, English SDH, French & Spanish.
Again another quality presentation, this is not an overly aggressive soundstage but loaded with a rocking soundtrack, clean crisp dialogue & when the occasional effect does come along its handled with aplomb. This is a near perfect example of what the format can offer & deserves a 4 1/2 out of 5.
[rating=4] and a half
Well this is probably a bit weak, a Gag-Reel, Deleted Scenes & a piece on the many & varied cameos in the film being the highlights but its an all region so a few extra points for that. So all in all a bit sparse but a 2 out of 5 seems appropriate.
Hard to believe a film that was given such an ass-paddling turns out such a belter of a Blu-ray. Look this film has major limitations though to me was way funnier than its predecessor the cinematic port-a-loo Jack & Jill, but if you love anything the big Sandoo does, then this is for you, if not take a wide birth, but on a standpoint of quality this overall package is a 4 out of 5, not too shabby..
